Development Engineer for Vehicle Simulation Software f/m/d

Aufgaben:
- Work in the software development team for AVL's Real-Time Vehicle Simulation Software Virtual Studio
- Develop vehicle simulation models for diverse testing environments, including conventional and electrification testbeds, HiL, SiL for system and sub-system testing of various vehicle types (battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, etc.)
- Design and implement suitable software architectures for efficient real-time vehicle simulation solutions
- Develop innovative simulation solutions, involving Machine Learning models and automated parameter identification
Qualifikationen:
- Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparable) with focus on Control Engineering, Software engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- Deep knowledge in the programming language MATLAB/Simulink and good knowledge of Python, C or C ++
- At least 3 years technical experience in the field of automotive engineering and/or simulation
- Basic automotive and powertrain engineering knowledge
- Business fluent knowledge in English

- Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR52,300.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
